Four sequences of the Milky Way moving across the night sky above some rocky mountains in the desert of southern California. Three of these sequences here were shot at 50mm - which I'm new at doing vs. my usual 15mm wide angle night sky shoot. The first sequence is at 50mm and is very well focused (thanks for the help, Jeff). Second sequence is 15mm and in focus. 3rd and 4th sequences aren't focused as sharply as I would have liked, but I still really like the foreground and movement of the Milky Way, so I decided to include them in this video anyway. Shot at an undisclosed location in the desert in southern California, the rocks and mountains seen here were formed by seismic activity where the Pacific and North American plates collided. Background music is a portion of "Glow In Space" by Sergey Cheremisinov.
